(they/Them)

Aaron is a Seattle-based Black queer community builder/ artist/ and cultural producer working alongside passionate individuals, collectives, organizations to create space for anti-racist action. Aaron is devoted to ensuring all stakeholders in the process feel seen, valued, and supported in understanding their place in our collective fight for liberation - especially folx who hold identities situated furthest from justice.

After spending 10 years of their life serving communities across the nation in various non-profits and organizational roles - Aaron specializes in overseeing organizational vision work , building out human-centered coaching practices that inspire innovation and root solutions, and consulting around community-centered program design. When Aaron isn’t using their strong vision to make change in the system, you’ll find them jamming and making music, producing community events, or practicing a DJ set for the next party they’re working.

My Mission

“I empower communities and organizations who desire to show up for liberation, justice, and equity work by building consciousness and capacity.

Through custom built facilitation, coaching, and community building spaces, I aim to amplify the power that exists within our communities to heal and make change within oppressive systems.”

MY VALUES

Transformative Justice

I know that the community wields the power to meet our own/ each other's needs outside of the oppressive structures designed by the system. I affirm the ability and agency we all have to transform and transmute the conditions that lead to oppressive realities within our society.

Interdependence

I believe in the power that exists within our multicultural communities, not in any power folx feel they have over a community.  To this end, we must lean into the skills and strategies that support us in being allies and accomplices for each other in order to cultivate that collective power.

Accountability

The more just and equitable world we are building together requires integrity towards our visions and goals.  I aim to support communities in accountability to the work in ways that are sustainable and nourishing.
